Albillo Real is the primary white grape of the region, though not widely planted. It is harvested almost a month and half before the reds which makes for a long harvest season. It's known for having lower acidity which Bárbara counteracts by adding in a small amount of Manzanilla, a technique borrowed from Rioja. This is a weighty white with subtle nutty notes — great with oily fish.
