In the last few decades, the Puzelat family have cultivated an undeniable swell and rhythm in the Loire, where they were among the first in the region to move toward natural winemaking (especially polyculture and organic farming), eventually becoming the first natural Loire producer to be exported to the US.
A badass fact: While working in the Touraine and Cheverny AOCs, Theirry Puzelat decided to declassify their wines to VdF altogether, affording the family the chance to continue moving in their own way. For their hard work, they’ve been rewarded with outstanding wines that simply can't be standardized.
Gravotte Blanc is a relatively new cuvee, 70% Fie Gris & 30% Chardonnay, from the enclosed Gravotte site.
