The next chapter of Roselana has arrived. The 2024 vintage makes its entrance with a profusion of explosive aromatics accompanied by a palate that is rich in fruit and electricity. There is no shyness here, there is precision and an appetizing bite wrapped around in clouds of perfume.
Vinification & Élevage: 2024 Roselana is a blend of 57% Pinot Noir from the home farm – harvested on September 14th; 24% Lemberger from the Knizat Farm – harvested on October 18 and 19% Gamay from home farm- harvested on September 25th. th The fruit was hand-harvested, hand sorted and processed as 100% destemmed fruit. It stayed on skins for a 5 day soak in a blend of both oak and concrete vessels and was then transferred to concrete to ferment. Once fully dry it was assembled and racked. It aged in concrete for an additional 8 weeks prior to bottling.
