18% Pinot Meunier, 18% Chardonnay; 17% Pinot Blanc, 15% Petit Meslier; 14% Pinot Noir, 10% Fromenteau 8% Arbanne. Blend of the seven indigenous grape varieties co-planted in a single parcel planted on the slopes of Chavot in 2003 by Aurélien’s father Thierry Laherte as a nod to ancient traditions. Worked with a horse.

Blend of 60% of current vintage and 40% of a solera combining each vintage since the start in 2005. No malolactic fermentation. 24-30 months sur lattes, 2.5 gr/l dosage. Disgorged "à la volée" (by hand) November 2023

This is a singular wine in the region as it is both a combination of all seven grape varieties AND 40% of the blend is from a continous solera started in 2005. There is an art to finding an acid and sugar balance across all seven grape varieties when determining picking dates, which is a challenge that Aurelien embraces and appreciates. The resulting wine is dense, rich, racy and endlessy pleasing.
