Fun facts: Each parcel at the estate is individually and often co-planted in red and white grapes. Many are always destined to the "basic" Crozes-Hermitage or Saint-Joseph blend but specific parcels have over the years been identified as particularly expressive and worthy of single vineyard bottlings.
Each vintage, René-Jean and François decide if they want to bottle these or not. They include Les Baties, Pitrou, Pé de Loup, Les Karrières, Les Champs and many others. If not, they are added to the "basic" blend.
The vines are planted on iron-rich clay mixed with alluvial stones.
Appellation: Crozes-Hermitage
Winemaking: The grapes are direct pressed to ferment and age in wood casks and oak barrels.
