After studying viticulture, ten years working in this sector and a few years making garage wine, I decided to try the adventure of setting up. It was at this time that the Thalie estate was born, in 2009. The adventure began with the purchase of 4.5 hectares of vines and an old farmhouse. 10 years later, after hours of work and work in the vineyards, the Domaine took shape. The vines are beautiful and productive. Our house, which is also our cellar, is functional and in the image of our family farm.
Grape variety : Gamay old vines.
Exposure : South
Vinification : Natural fermentation without sulfites. Whole bunch maceration and vatting for approximately 15 days, then aging in 500L demi-muid barrels for 10 months. Unfined, unfiltered wine.
Tasting : A racy and wild wine with notes of cherries and spices, a saline finish.
