This Cabernet Sauvignon was planted by Doctor Ulrich Stein in the 1990s as a joke, on a mountain plot in Stein’s Grand Cru vineyard Palmberg. He never expected the wine to develop into the serious, bright and stern Cabernet Sauvignon it turned into, thanks to climate change. As the folks at Vom Boden put it so well, “Obviously we, as a world community, have to do more. But this is a small, crazy something. Please join us and thank you so much.”
