This beer is a special release just for Nowruz (the Persian New Year), which falls on March 20th. I used traditional ingredients that are meaningful to Nowruz to brew this beer – apples, sumac and wheat. This beer was dry hopped with Mosaic hops and it’s a New England style IPA – super hazy, juicy, and refreshing. ABV is right at 6.5%. This is a one-time drop for New Day IPA and it will continue to be our annual release for Nowruz. The cans were designed by a young Iranian woman who lives in D.C., and it’s a very symbolic label specific to the New Year.
