Birgit Eichinger and Christian Eichinger have built their estate since 1992 into one of the benchmark producers of Kamptal, working across top vineyard sites in Strass with a consistent focus on purity, minerality, and length.
Their Grüner Veltliner 'Hasel' comes from 20–30 year old vines rooted in loess soils composed of quartz, limestone, mica, and clay. It’s a classic Grüner with a bit of lift and personality — crisp and mouthwatering, showing white pepper, green apple, and subtle herbal notes wrapped around a clean, mineral core. Bright acidity drives the wine, while the loess soils give it a smooth, generous texture, making it both refreshing and quietly complex — a benchmark example of Grüner Veltliner at its most balanced and expressive.
