A fresh, mineral Chardonnay with bright fruit notes of pear and apricot. It is cheerful, expressive, and easy to share — perfect as an aperitif or with Comté and other cheeses. The wine is made with manual harvesting, static settling, indigenous yeasts, and aging on lees for 6–11 months.
According to their importer, since 2022 onward, Céline and Laurent Tripoz have been bottling the Cuvée du Clocher entirely without sulfur. The couple began experimenting in 2017 with tiny batches called >>501<< to compare wines made identically except for small SO₂ additions, tasting them blind to understand its true role. This experience gave them the confidence to let the wine’s freshness and mineral character shine naturally.
