NOTE: Melon, strawberry and dried flower, full in the mouth with a wave of acid and fine tannin on the finish.
ELEVAGE: Grapes were crushed, destemmed and allowed to macerate for five days before pressing. Settled juice was moved to stainless steel where fermentation, including full malolactic, continued until early-summer 2025. In September the wine was racked off its lees and bottled without fining or filtration.
MISCELLANEOUS: Finger Lakes pinot gris from the remarkable 2024 vintage. It has real weight and fullness despite its low alcohol (below 12%). There is a floral element and fine tannic structure from the skins that we like to think attests to the grape's pinot noir parentage.
