The La Porte Saint Jean consists of 100% Cabernet Franc sourced from a single plot in lieu-dits of Les Cormiers in Saumur. The vines are 60 years old and vinified in new barrique for 24 months after several weeks of maceration in concrete. An intense - yet elegant - offering from rising star and wine wünderkind, Sylvain Dittière.

Sylvain Dittière comes from a family of growers - rose growers; he decided grapevines were more interesting and began an apprenticeship at the iconic Domaine du Collier.
