Composed of Ca[n]nonau, Sardegna’s version of Grenache. A fuller-bodied bottle with good acidity and structure. The vines of Ca[n]nonau - Cardedu uses the old spelling with just one ‘n’ - are 50 years old on average, and thrive in Sardegna’s prized growing zone of Jerzu. The name “Caladu” is the Sardinian word for “sunset,” and that’s exactly what we envision when cracking open a bottle.
