The 2016 Mâcon La Roche Vineuse Vieilles Vignes comes from five parcels of vine between 55 and 80 years old and sees around 10% new oak. It is a serious level up from the regular La Roche Vineuse: more complexity and harmony, gorgeous yellow flower and orange blossom aromas with real intensity and conviction. The palate is very well balanced with a keen line of acidity, fresh and vibrant with a delicate touch of spice on the finish.
