Kollectiv Peternell is somewhat of a side-hustle of three friends: Paul Schuster, Dave Ferris, and Simon Ecke. Paul Schuster met British-born Davis Ferris while working harvest for Partida Creus in 2018. By 2019, the two, along with Simon Ecke, a friend of Paul's, were making wine and had founded Kollective Peternell, and all three members still work in various roles in cooking and hospitality in Austria & France.
