This Cheverny Rouge is a blend of Pinot Noir (70%) and Gamay (30%) from seventeen year old vines planted to a 40 hectare property from a high altitude site. The vines were macerated semi-carbonically with spontaneous fermentation occurring in cement and resin tanks at low temperatures to keep things fresh and lifted.
