La Coulée is 100% Grolleau, a medium bodied, rustic red variety almost exclusively found in the Loire. This wine is serious but incredibly drinkable, offering up purple fruit and fine tannins that will appeal to Beaujolais fans and Loire devotees alike.

Benoit Courault is a self-made vigneron, who studied winemaking in Beaune and Tavel in the early 2000s.
In 2006, he started his own domaine with the aim of producing quality wines in the Loire.
