Abdullah Richi is a Syrian refugee who fled the violence of the Syrian war and sought refuge in Lebanon. With a keen interest in winemaking, Abdullah learned the craft by observing our wine maker, Eddie Chami (left above), and used his newly acquired skills to create an exquisite red wine, which he named after his wife, Hanan.
Despite the challenges he faced as a refugee, Abdullah remains determined to pursue his passion and dreams of returning to Syria to establish his own winery. His unwavering dedication to winemaking is a testament to his resilience and hope for a brighter future.
