Albahara means “small sea,” in the local dialect. This cuvée is composed of 70% Garnacha Tintorera and 30% Moravia Agria. The vines thrived 900 meters above sea level on a mixture of clay and sandy soils. After harvest, the blend was vinified on the stems and aged for eight months with extended lees contact.
