The Bitossi family has tended their property in the hills of Montespertoli since the late 1970s, after a previously successful ceramics business.
The property is split between Montespertoli and Saint’ Ansano within the town of Vinci -- one of the lesser-known areas of Tuscany.
The family uses a mixture of cover cropping, row weeding, and other techniques to protect the local biodiversity of the area.
