From the hills of Piacenza in Emilia-Romagna, this dry sparkling wine is made from Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, Marsanne, Ortrugo, and Trebbiano grown on rocky, sandy soils. The grapes are harvested by hand, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and bottled before fermentation is complete.
Produced using the ancestral method (metodo ancestrale), the wine finishes fermentation in bottle, creating its gentle sparkle naturally. The result is a lightly fizzy, unfiltered wine with bright aromatics, fresh acidity, and a distinctly Italian sense of ease. It's the kind of bottle that reminds you sparkling wine doesn't need 'serious' to be compelling.
