Meaning “spring” in French, the moment when the vineyard wakes up and everything feels possible again. ‘Printemps’ is my newly released love letter from Brij, made from organically grown vines in the SLO Coast.
This wine has been living in my head for a long time. I wanted something that felt alive — full of red fruit, flowers, energy. A carbonic Pinot that doesn’t take itself too seriously but has real soul underneath. Because great wine should be versatile, no? It should sit comfortably next to a proper coq au vin — deep, braised, classical. And then the very next night, it should be just as happy with a pepperoni pizza straight from the box. That’s the wine I always wanted to drink. That’s Printemps.
