From a small village in the eastern side of the Loire comes the wines of Gaël Felix, a first generation winemaker reminding us that Sauvignon Blanc can be dynamic, layered, and thoroughly interesting.

From Wine Traditions:

The cuvee 1ere Confidence is produced from several parcels in the lieu-dit “Les Victoires”. The grapes are hand harvested and pass through a “table de tri” before entering the winery. The fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks, and then the wine ages for a year in tanks 90% and 500L barrels (demi-muids) 10%.
