You like Pinot, they like Bojo – what’s a wine lover to do? Now there’s a compromise with the VdF Rouge. This wine is a blend of Pinot Noir (70%) and Gamay (30%) from seventeen year old vines planted to a 40 hectare property from a high altitude site. The vines were macerated semi-carbonically with spontaneous fermentation occurring in cement and resin tanks at low temperatures to keep things fresh and lifted. With its bright fruit, light body, and mineral lacework, now both camps have something they can agree on.
