Château Les Vieux Moulins is the property of Damien Lorteau. Pirouette is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grown on two distinct parcels, both farmed organically but with very different soil types. Damien uses no sulphur during vinification, just a dash at bottling and follows lunar cycles to carry out vineyard and winery work. The wine is distinctly Bordeaux but with lovely depth, life and vitality. It’s a Bordeaux to get excited about, and one that doesn't cost a fortune!
