Fun facts: Vinudilice translates to "Wine of the holm oak forest" in Sicilian dialect.
The grapes come from the Bosco vineyard and are cultivated by hand and mule. The parcel is an ancient field blend of at least 10 red and white grapes. It is the only vineyard in the area, located in a wild and uncontaminated area rich in biodiversity.
At 1200 meters elevation, it is the highest vineyard in Etna and perhaps all of Italy!
Appellation: Vino Rosato
Winemaking: The grapes are hand harvested at the same time. They macerate one night on the skins, co-ferment spontaneously in wooden vats with no temperature control. Racking and bottling are carried out according to phases of the moon.
