After studying viticulture, ten years working in this sector and a few years making garage wine, I decided to try the adventure of setting up. It was at this time that the Thalie estate was born, in 2009. The adventure began with the purchase of 4.5 hectares of vines and an old farmhouse. 10 years later, after hours of work and work in the vineyards, the Domaine took shape. The vines are beautiful and productive. Our house, which is also our cellar, is functional and in the image of our family farm.
Soils are calcareous clay, marl, and granite and the vinification is natural fermentation with the use of native yeasts. Whole bunch maceration and vatting for around 18 days then aging in 500L demi-muids for 10 months; unfined and unfiltered.
