The Azimut Brisat is a skin-contact blend from the Penedès region of Spain. All vines are about 25 years old and were organically farmed. This wine is a mixture of Parellada, Sumoll Blanc, Garnatxa Blanca, and Moscatell. "Brisat" is the traditional word for skin-contact wines in the Penedés region.
- The wine is made by Assís Suriol and his family, who have been farmers since the 1600s.
- In 1890 the Phylloxera epidemic killed all the vines at Cellers de Can Suriol, and they had to regraft new vines on American rootstock ten years later.
- In the 1990s, the Suriol family made the switch over to Organic Viticulture, where they discontinued the use of pesticides, herbicides and implemented biodynamic viticultural practices.
