A blend of Malvasia, Moscato bianco, and Ottonese from Lazio, macerated for two weeks and aged in old chestnut barrels.

Lorella and Piero were authors and directors of Italian television who privately nurtured their passion for wine. They studied agricultural texts and produced about a thousand bottles of vin de garage. After making documentaries for television in 2006 about the state of Italian agriculture, food quality, and meat, they realized that in the land they worked near Rome, they were preserving a place of extraordinary biodiversity, where herbs (more than 400) coexist with vines, ancient fruits, and centuries-old trees.


Thus they decided to change their lives, leaving the city and founding their company in 2010, between the towns of Bellegra and Olevano Romano. Today they cultivate about 6 hectares on their hill, called Colle Pazzo because each slope is extraordinarily composed of two soils: red-iron volcanic lands and Cretaceous sandstones.

Piero and Lorella combine their agricultural knowledge with Biodynamic methods to preserve fertility and produce enjoyable, digestible, and good wines. They harvest the grapes by area, and at the end of each aging process, they produce wines from the ancient indigenous grapes of Cesanese and Malvasia and from the experimental vineyard of Riesling Renano.


Piero oversees the cultivation and the winery. Lorella takes care of the administration and the tasting room. Their dream is to produce terroir wines every year that, in addition to being good and unique, can become part of a person's meal, just like in the past, meaning they can nourish the body as well as the spirit, doing us good.
