This is sort of peak 'orange wine'—more a culture concept than a reflection of history or place...or I guess maybe a very short history.
This 'project' was started in 2019 as a casual birthday conversation between friends Jude Zasadzki and Eliot Kessel in Los Angeles, evolving into a traveling, négociant-style project that rejects estate-owned land to craft vibrant, low-intervention California wines. Ok! I searched high and low for more intel...this is about the depth you get from the distributor, and national importers who Jude is also a sales rep for. C'est la vie.
This is a fun wine that is like Charli XCX...playful and hip..what else do we need?
QUICK TAKE: Tropical, aromatic but without the tannins. Thick, high-chew, mashed up with elderflowers.
