Partida Creus is one of the pioneering natural wine estates in Catalonia’s Penedés region. Founded by Antonella Gerosa and Massimo Marchiori, who left their careers in architecture and design to live closer to the land, the estate is based in rural Bonastre just five minutes from the Mediterranean. They discovered and restored old vineyards of native varieties like Cartoixa, Sumoll, and Vinyater, farming organically on clay- and limestone-rich soils at 180–240 meters elevation. Their approach focuses on capturing authenticity, respecting local traditions, and letting the grapes grow naturally — no chemicals, no interference.
The wines are hand-harvested, destemmed, and macerated for 6–9 days before gentle pressing to stainless steel. A pied de cuve is used to start fermentation for each batch, and after primary fermentation the wines rest on fine lees before bottling the following spring, without fining, filtering, or added sulfur.
