Ramón Saavedra returned to his native Granada to take over his family's vineyard in Cortes y Graena, a stark desert landscape of red rock and sand far from the coastal vineyards of Andalucía. At over 1,000 meters in elevation on alluvial soils at the base of the Sierra Nevada, he farms organically, including some ungrafted vines planted in sandy, phylloxera-free soils. This 100% Tempranillo is fermented and aged entirely in stainless steel with native yeasts and no fining or filtration. Bright, fresh, and vibrant, it balances ripe mountain fruit with lively acidity—a pure, minimal-intervention expression of high-altitude Andalucía.
