“Centime” harkens back to France's copper penny, and celebrates our full skin-contact series (aka orange wine). The grapes are destemmed and fermented on the skins for 12 days, then aged in neutral oak 10 months. This is a non traditional orange wine, and at 11.8% alc, is light and fresh, while still textural. If you've always been curious about orange wines, but not a fan of oxidized wines, this is a great introduction to the style!

If you've been enjoying our Centime wines for a while, you may have noticed a change. Since 2018, we've focused on Vermentino, and the 2022 vintage introduces 25% Picpoul and for the first time 13% Albarino, blended with the Vermentino (60%).

The Centime penny has gone through some changes as well, until it was withdrawn in 2002, when France switched over to the Euro. Long live Centime!
